“La Perla” is a comfortable restaurant in Sea Point, Cape Town. It’s located in Beach Road directly adverse of the ocean. That’s one of the reasons to visit the restaurant. Nothing is better than to relax in the evening with friends and a glass of good wine and to watch the sunset.
„La Perla“ is open daily for lunch and dinner and is closing around 11 pm. The average prices of the main menus account at R 140 which is very similar to the German standard. We recommend the pasta with avocados and salmon that we already tried!
Great outside section, great food, great wine! This place opened in the 1960s in Cape Town’s CBD and moved to its current location in 1969.
Large windows, horizontal beams, ceiling panels and ’70s lights now have retro appeal; carved chairs and tasselled Italian upholstery have also survived. Orange is a feature colour, with specks dotted inside and out. There are beautiful comfortable seats outside and small lights in their plants as well as a water basin makes the atmosphere quiet familiar. If you just want to relax you can sit inside at the bar area with leather couches and a big TV screen showing sport events.
