Kirstenbosch Garden: 4th. Biodiversity Expo

Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden

The Biodiversity Expo kicks off on Thursday 5 May and runs until Sunday 8
May 2011. This free event at the Old Mutual Conference Centre at
Kirstenbosch is in its fourth year and attracts participants and exhibitors
who want to engage with visitors on conservation issues. Schools can enjoy a
host of fascinating exhibits over the first two days whilst the whole family
can participate in the weekend activities, although everyone is welcome for
all 4 days.

In the plans are a fun orienteering event through the
Kirstenbosch Garden on Saturday will have you consulting the Scouts and your
compass!. If indoors suits you better then ongoing activities at the Expo
offer present conservation in a fun, constructive, informative and
interesting format for all ages and is guaranteed to entertain and
edu-tain!. If conservation is your passion or if you want to find out more
about this vital interchange between human beings and nature then the Expo
is where you want to be. Learn how to make effective changes in your
lifestyle, see what career opportunities are available plus a host of
interactive exhibits, short videos and some clever and entertaining shows
bring conservation to life and straight into our homes. Biodiversity is life
