The Eastern Food Bazaar is located in 96 Longmarket Street in the city centre of Cape Town. It’s in the Old Wellington Fruit Growers Market Building between Longmarket Street and Darling Street.
Its open Monday-Thursday: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm, Friday-Saturday: 11:00 am – 10:30 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 10:00 pm.
There you have different points where you can choose between a multiplicity of various meals:
- Bonbay Bites: Indian vegetarian food
- Turkish food: Shawarma, the sandwich-like wrap with lamb or chicken
- Egyptian/Sudanese Arabic Food: Falafel
- Madra-Dosa House: Dosa from South India
- China Town: typical Chinese food
- Nizami-Kebab
- Punjabi: from Northwestern India and Eastern Pakistan
If you want to have a very good meal, join the Eastern Food Bazaar. We promise that you will leave the restaurant with a full belly. In addition to the delicious food you pay not so much for a whole meal, e.g. chicken shawarma, chips, a small portion of salad and a coke for around 4 €.
We visit that place almost every day and we are not tired of it!
