Cape West Coast Wild Flower Season

Welcome spring! It’s a magical moment along the West coast, here in Cape Town and towards the village, mountains and fields are producing a burst of wildflowers almost simultaneously, in full bloom.

This natural phenomenon located along the coast of Cape Town, attracts thousands of tourists from around the country and around the world between August and September each year, but the flowers are known to begin to bloom about July or August depending on weather conditions.

Stations can be enjoyed at different locations. To experience the most remarkable experiences, the flower lovers should visit Postberg in the national park on the east coast, where 80 different species hays and unique in that they are not elsewhere in the world.

The season of flowers attract a healthy beauty, begins the spring with lots of tiny white daisies and yellow daisies rain button, blue and pink linen Nemesio.

The spectacular Cederberg, Groot Matzikamma Winterhoek and mountains and arid beauty and Hardeveld Knersvlakte, are covered with carpets of daisies, yellow gansogies between Felicia, Nemesio and vygies in. Shelter from the upper floors are gems like winecups, Sparaxis and Babiana Lachenalia.
